Letters to the Seven Churches

Lent is a call to turn inward, repent, and draw closer to Christ through reflection and renewal. Letters to the 7 Churches invites you on a five-week Lenten journey to explore the powerful messages Jesus sent to the seven churches in Revelation 2–3. This series is a personal invitation to examine your faith, realign your heart with God’s truth, and grow in devotion alongside our church family as we prepare for the hope of Easter.

Of all the letters in Revelation, the message to Laodicea is perhaps the most sobering for the modern, comfortable church. In this week’s episode of our Lent series,Letters to the Seven Churches, Pastor Aaron unpacks the famous warning found inRevelation 3:14-22. Jesus tells this congregation that because they are "lukewarm"—neither bringing healing warmth nor refreshing cold—He is ready to spit them out of His mouth. Join us as we examine how the comfort and wealth of Laodicea lulled them into a dangerous spiritual apathy, and how we can guard our own hearts against settling for a casual, complacent faith.
