Pastor Jerry holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Digital Media and Design with a Minor in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University, and a Master of Arts in Biblical Languages from Liberty University, where he wrote and defended a thesis titled "Tracing חֶסֶד and ἔλεος: A Prototype Theory and Componential Analysis of Covenantal Loyalty and Divine Mercy Across the Pentateuch, Septuagint, Targums, and the New Testament." His research focused on translation issues surrounding the Hebrew word ḥesed and the Greek eleos, particularly their rendering as “mercy” in English. He is currently a PhD candidate in Liberty University’s School of Divinity. With 18 years of ministry experience, Jerry was called to ministry in 2007 and began his journey at the Youth Ministry Institute. He has served in churches ranging from under 100 members to congregations of over 3,000, including some of the fastest-growing churches in America. He grew up around horses and is an accomplished horse trick rider, albiet retired, and skilled blacksmith.
